My english leaning experience.

I have been studying English for 6 years.
My first English lesson was at junior high school.
At the first, I couldn’t understand what teacher says at all.
But I liked study English. I didn’t regard English as what I have to do.
And my mother likes to listen to Backstreet boys. Maybe, it made me have curious about foreign music. It started from Avril Lavigne and then spread widely. Now I have many favorite artists and bands who sing in English. It helped me a lot with my listening skill and learning vocabulary. But sometimes I can learn very bad words from their lyrics. And to discover many bands, I used internet very often. It helped me my reading skill. I read their live journals to know about them.
But sometimes I did't like to study English. That was my cram school days. I was afraid to study English because everytime when I read the text, there were full of unknown words and grammar which I couldn't understand at all. I was disappointed at myself. But the same time, I realized that the way I studied English was very vague and randam. In the end, I entered this school by recommendation, that was hardest time of leaning English and would be the last time studying that hard in my life. At least about reading.
That is my English experience. I think it is working successfully so far.

Listening to music and also reading about the bands online is a great way to get new vocabulary and have fun! I hope you continue to be successful here at Kanda!
